Hi guys!
I am new to Visual Studio and have been set the task to create a Windows Form Application for a fake Toy store as my assignment.
It is a Stock inventory system with live data that you can update, once updated it will save and send the updated copy to the office.
My problem is this, I have been giving the data in the form of an excel file and have no idea how to add it to my project.
I have watched a few videos however they seem to use SQL compact 4.0 and add the file which seems really simple but i am using VS community and it does not appear in the, Connect to Database list, I have also downloaded it but it still does not appear in VS Data connection, Choose Data source list.
Would be greatly appreciated if any one can point me in the right direction or has any advice.
This is my first windows form app i have only had experience with console apps previously.
